Cristina Kirchner Bids Farewell to Sandra Mendoza

Buenos Aires, Feb 11 (NA) – Former President and current leader of the Justicialist Party, Cristina Kirchner, bid farewell to the late former Deputy Sandra Mendoza, whom she defined as a 'great companion and militant of Peronism.'

From her social networks, the former head of state published a message highlighting her activity within Peronism, as well as offering condolences to her family, as several other figures from the political space did.

'Farewell, dear Sandra, a great companion and militant of Peronism. Warrior of life... may you rest in peace. My condolences to her family,' stated the former head of state.

In turn, former Santa Cruz Governor Alicia Kirchner also expressed her sadness during the Senate session on labor reform, as well as on her personal X account: 'Hugs with all my heart to the family and friends of comrade Sandra Mendoza, an untiring fighter for her beloved Chaco people,' she stated.

Similarly, during the same session, Senator Juliana Di Tullio requested to interrupt the speeches for 60 seconds to honor the former wife of Jorge Capitanich, which was accepted by all blocs.

'As soon as the session began, we received news that fits the day, which is very sad news: the death of a comrade, a friend, and someone the province of Chaco loves a lot, regardless of political affiliation,' expressed Di Tullio.

Finally, the bloc of national deputies from Unión por la Patria (UxP) issued a statement to bid farewell to Mendoza and thank her for 'her commitment to Peronist militancy' and 'to the Chaco people.'

'Her time in the Chamber of Deputies leaves an indelible mark. A huge hug to her family and loved ones in this painful moment,' concluded the parliamentary bloc.
